Useful information

Results from saliva and urine test doesn't always tell you how to protect yourself from being punished sine culpa.
In the example that you are clinically unimpaired, but you still test positive on a saliva test with sensitivity 25 ng/ml: you will test positive if you are stopped in a routine control some hours after testing. If losing your licence has serious consequences for your employment or if you are driving your mother in law to a doctors appointment in the morning, it can be reassuring to ensure that you test negative the evening before you get behind the wheel.
A positive saliva test doesn't say too much about how much THC is in your blood. But if you test positive on a urine test with sensitivity 100 ng/ml, your blood levels are probably problematic.
If you have a tolerance break to clear your body for accumulated THC, and you consequently test negative on a urine test with sensitivity 25 ng/ml for a couple of days in a row, the chances are high that you are THC negative.
Some research can give clues on the strategic use of both saliva and urine tests. There is also research that points to a strategy to speed up the clearance of accumulated THC. Forum -> Open Knowledge Project -> Science and Utility -> How to speed up the elimination of THC..
